My impressions are the same…I only just installed it (yesterday), but I’ve been testing it out on a lot of games, comparing the performance to what I had with my Pentium D, and I’m seriously impressed…
I’ve tried STALKER, Company of Heroes and FEAR so far — with all settings on maximum for all three games and a resolution of 1400×900, not only does everything look amazing, but it actually runs smooth as silk. I’m getting an average that’s over 50 fps: this processor is awesome.
